The Story Behind ARCO Luxe

After nearly 30 years serving as an Information Technology Project and Program Manager with the Department of Veterans Affairs, I made a major life shift—one that allowed me to fully engage the creative side of my brain.

With a Doctorate in Business Administration and numerous IT certifications, my career was built on structure, innovation, and long hours behind a desk. I thoroughly enjoyed my time in federal service and the work I did in the IT field. However, in early 2025, due to shifting political circumstances, I made the difficult decision to step away from the government.

It was a pivotal moment—both personally and professionally. I had always dreamed of owning my own business, and I had long held a passion for furniture refinishing, home décor, and curated design. That dream came to life with the launch of ARCO Luxe.

ARCO Luxe reflects my belief in the beauty of transformation. I find joy in uncovering unique vintage or antique pieces and breathing new life into them—turning overlooked furniture into functional works of art. I’m equally passionate about sourcing timeless décor and creating elegant, inviting spaces through intentional staging.
